EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Five people were hurt when a mud bog vehicle crashed into spectators during a competition Saturday in Wis.
Officials said a truck involved in the Pioneer Days Mud Bog & Tuff Truck event left the course and hit several people. Five people were taken to the hospital and were all treated and released by the end of the day.
“One of the racers lost control midway through the track, made a hard left and into the crowd over the guardrail,” Detective Allen Myren of the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office told reporters.
