COUNTY LAOIS, Ireland — A paramedic was allegedly stranded by his colleague at a gas station over 60 miles away from their station after the two got into an argument.

Beat102103 reported that the two paramedics were returning to their station after transporting a patient when the incident occurred. Sources said the stranded paramedic had complained about his colleague’s driving, which caused the driver to pull over and drop the paramedic off at a gas station.

Another ambulance was dispatched to pick the paramedic up after the control center was notified.

“The National Ambulance Service can confirm that on July 22, a disagreement arose between two NAS Staff at the end of their shift,” a spokesperson said. “Local NAS management are working with the staff to resolve the issue.”

It is unclear whether an investigation into the incident is underway.
