MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A paramedic was hit by a driver while walking in a gas station parking lot.

Police are looking for the driver of a black Dodge Charger with possible front-end and windshield damage after the driver hit a Memphis Fire Department paramedic walking in the parking lot of a gas station, ABC 24 reported.

“Upon arriving on the scene, officers found that a hit-and-run driver never attempted to render aid to the pedestrian,” the police report read. “The hit and run driver in the Dodge Charger was performing burnouts/doughnuts in the parking lot of Mapco and struck the Memphis Fire Paramedic as he attempted to walk into the business. The Dodge Charger fled the scene Southbound on One Place.”

The medic was transported to Regional One in non-critical condition.

The police ask anyone with information about the incident call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
