CLINTON, Miss. — NAEMT has created an infographic to help explain EMS’ role in the United States’ health care transformation.
Officials explained how the nation’s health care system is undergoing rapid change from a fee-for-service model to a patient-centered, value and outcomes-based model known as “Health care 3.0.” To maintain and expand, NAEMT said EMS must undergo an “EMS 3.0" transformation.
The transformation can be done by providing 24/7 medical resources to improve patient care, health and reduce costs.
