JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. — A former EMT has been charged with sexually harassing a colleague for almost a year.

Sean Dornin was fired in June after the accusations were made, and he has been criminally charged with stalking, indecent assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, reported WPXI.

The colleague, who reported the harassment to her supervisor and police, said the incidents occurred between June 2015 and March 2016. She stated Dornin repeatedly harassed her with vulgar and sexual comments, groped her while on-duty and made unwanted requests for sexual contact. The agency stated it has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual assault.

Although Dornin was terminated from his position at Jefferson Hills Area Ambulance service, he still works as a volunteer fire captain and vice president at the Jefferson Hills Volunteer Fire Department.

The department’s fire chief said he was unaware of the charges filed against Dornin.

Dornin’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for mid-December.
