LONDON — Ambulance crews were called to assess eight people who became unwell after eating hash brownies in Purley last night.
Five of the people, who were said to be feeling “spaced out”, were taken to hospital for observation after an ambulance crew, duty officer and police all went to the scene just after 8.30 p.m.
A hash brownie is a cake baked with marajuana which people eat to get high as an alternative to smoking the drug.
