BARTLETT, Ill. — A Metra commuter train collided Monday with a semi-truck in Bartlett, derailing the train and causing problems with rail service through the evening.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on the Milwaukee West line at Oak Street and the railroad tracks in the western suburb.
The driver of the truck, which was transporting four automobiles, apparently was uninjured. Two train passengers were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, Bartlett police said.
