QUINCY, Ill. — The Adams County Ambulance Service launched its new billing system March 31, and officials hope it will increase payment collections.
Director Paul Davis told the Ambulance Board Tuesday that there have been some “growing pains” with ambulance crews inputting information on new tablet computers, but all reports have been uploaded.
“I’ve been fielding calls frequently,” Davis said. “Everyone has been patient, which I don’t expect anything less. We’re still tweaking the systems.”
