BALTIMORE, Md. — Four men were injured in three separate shootings and a severe stabbing in Baltimore City Monday night, according to police.
Shortly before 11:30 p.m., homicide detectives were called to a scene near Mount and Mosher streets in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood after a man was shot in the chest, police said. No further information was available.
Around 8:45 p.m., a man was found stabbed in the head in the 900 block of Coppin Ct. in Cherry Hill. He was taken to an area hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, both Southern District and homicide detectives were called to the scene.
Officers found a 20-year-old man who had been shot in the leg in the 2900 block of Matthews St. in Better-Waverly around 5 p.m., a police news release said. Police initially reported the shooting had happened in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. The victim was taken to an area hospital. Later, police said a 38-year-old man was shot in the torso in the 1700 block of Ashburton St. in Coppin Heights around 8 p.m. He was taken to an area hospital. Anyone with information may call the Western District at 410-396-2477.
All three incidents are under investigation and police have not named suspects.
