YORK, Pa. — Two firefighters were injured and the driver of a passenger vehicle was extricated from her car after a collision with a fire truck.
The West York ladder truck was responding to a call for a furnace malfunction around 7:40 a.m. when the crash occurred, the York Daily Record reports.
The female driver of a Pontiac Grand Am was extricated from her car, and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
“She was conscious and oriented the entire time,” West Manchester Township Fire Chief Dave Nichols told the newspaper.
She, along with the two firefighters, were transported to York Hospital.
