Texas EMT dies in one-vehicle car crash

HENDERSON, Texas — An EMT died after he lost control of his car on slick roads last Wednesday.

CBS19 reported that Joseph Daniel Stringer, 34, who worked for Impel Ambulance Service, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Stringer was traveling at an unsafe speed for the road conditions, lost control of his car and struck a tree.

Stringer was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report. The crash remains under investigation.
