The EMS World Expo Podcast Studio, sponsored by Physio-Control, is preparing for its seventh year of exhibit hall coverage with some amazing updates this year.

In addition to fan-favorite programs, like the EMS Garage and the MedicCast, the first ever live episodes of the new ECC Podcast in Spanish will debut. The podcast, hosted by Dr. Gustavo Flores, a member of the EMS1 Editorial Advisory Board, will record shows on Sept. 17 and 18 at 4 p.m. and on Sept. 19 at 10:15 a.m.

All EMS providers are encouraged to stop at booth #229 to meet their favorite EMS podcasters from the MedicCast, the EMS Garage, and the Disaster Podcast and to listen to the discussions. The podcasts will be hitting some tough topics, including the EMS role in end of life care and death, challenges of public access epinephrine delivery, and the challenges EMS providers and systems face becoming good digital citizens.

The Podcast Studio, a joint partnership between the ProMed Network, MedicCast Productions, and EMS World Expo, records key speakers, events and topics from the conference. The Podcast Studio will be open and recording live on the exhibit hall floor.

MedicCast host, Jamie Davis – the Podmedic, will be signing a limited number of copies of his new book “Extreme Medical Services”. The debut book from Davis is a paranormal urban EMS featuring paramedics caring for creatures of myth and legend living in our communities. The book signings will take place during breaks between episode recordings of the MedicCast. Visit MedicCast.com/blog for a full schedule of each day’s recordings and topics at EMS World Expo.
