DETROIT — Fire departments around the county can get victims out of wreckage, but only if they have a power supply for the jaws of life.
Detroit has six squad trucks equipped with the jaws of life, but a generator needed for one of the squads was stolen last Thursday night.
The crew believes it was taken through a side panel while they were helping fight a fire on the east side of Detroit.
