WALES, UK — PARAMEDICS were taken to hospital after they were bitten by a patient being treated for a suspected drug overdose.
Their ambulance was then attacked by youths who threw bricks which smashed windows, as they were parked in Bromley Drive, Ely, Cardiff.
The incident took place between 9.30pm and 10pm last night and the male and female paramedics were taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where they were both treated for minor hand injuries.
A 16-year-old girl was arrested and taken to Llandough Hospital under escort where she received treatment.
