LEVITTOWN, Pa. — The death of a Pennsylvania man who was a firefighter for Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson was ruled a suicide, according to a published report.

George Redner III, known as “Reds,” was struck and killed by an Amtrak train around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday at the Levittown/Tullytown station, Amtrak spokesman Craig Schulz said.

The Bucks County coroner, Joseph Campbell, said Sunday that Redner had died by suicide, according to the Bucks County Courier Times. He was 27. Tullytown police Chief Daniel Doyle told the newspaper that police found a note in Redner’s car, which was parked at the train station.
