Installations of Other NOELLE® Simulators at Health Care Educational Institutions Continue at Steady Pace
Miami, FL – Gaumard Scientific Company today reported the latest installations of its Victoria™ birthing simulator as part of the nationwide roll-out initiated in September. In addition, Gaumard said installations of its other fully tetherless simulators from the NOELLE family have continued at a steady pace in the fourth quarter with the company’s focus on building a national footprint for its products.
Recent Victoria installation sites include:
- Daytona State College, Human Patient Simulator Lab, Daytona Beach, Fla.
- The University of Iowa, College of Nursing, Nursing Clinical Education Center, Iowa City, Iowa
- Yampa Valley Medical Center, Steamboat Springs, Colo.
The latest addition to the family of NOELLE maternal and neonatal care simulators, Victoria, has a patented, precision life-like delivery and birthing mechanism that births a life-like, full-term baby with sophisticated monitoring capabilities. Gaumard’s complete Victoria system includes comprehensive clinical scenarios, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. With articulating endoskeletons and silky smooth elastomeric skin, Victoria is the most realistic, fully tetherless and wireless maternal/fetal simulator for use in actual point of care training.
John Eggert, Gaumard’s executive vice president, said: “The increase in customer demand for Victoria has carried over to our other NOELLE simulators. Gaumard is able to offer health care educators the most comprehensive product and customer support offering in the obstetrics and gynecology market segment. As we wind down the year, we move closer to IMSH 2015 in January, where we will showcase Victoria as well as simulators from our other market segments. We expect to have several significant announcements at the conference that reflect our commitment to technology innovation. This innovation is evident in the unique features of all of our simulators, including Victoria, and the accompanying hardware and software.”
