GPS device stolen from Pa. ambulance

GREENSBURG, Pa. — An ambulance company in northeast Westmoreland County had a global positioning system stolen from one of its ambulances, state police at Greensburg said.

Laurel Valley Ambulance Service at 174 13th St., New Florence, reported that someone took a Garmin NUVI 755T GPS from its 2001 Ford E450 ambulance between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, police said Saturday.

Police did not list the value of the device.

A spokesman for the Laurel Valley Ambulance Service could not be reached for comment yesterday.
