OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — A man was arrested Saturday after allegedly stealing an ambulance from a hospital and leading police on a chase.
KFOR reported that police learned the ambulance was running and unlocked at the hospital when authorities say Lawrence Fallon, 67, got behind the wheel.
The ambulance had a GPS device installed, which made it easy for troopers to track the stolen vehicle, according to the report.
Authorities said Fallon told officers he was doing a transfer to Dallas and was still wearing his hospital gown.
Fallon was taken to a county jail, according to the report.
