GREENVILLE, N.C. — An ambulance was stolen over the weekend at Vidant Medical Center.
The hospital says it happened Saturday evening and that the Chocowinity EMS ambulance was recovered within minutes with no damage.
Vidant says the person who took the ambulance has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, but the hospital refuses to release information on the name of the suspect.
