BILLUND, Denmark — An ambulance, made entirely of LEGO pieces, debuts at LEGOLAND park in Denmark.
The Falck ambulance was built from 255,750 LEGO pieces, weighs a ton, and took more than 1,000 hours to build.
Falck ambulance plans to use the half-size ambulance replica, complete with blue flashing lights and a siren, for more than just a show exhibit.
“It is an educational tool that we intend to use at future exhibitions and conferences to show people the functions and contents of a modern ambulance,” said Allan Søgaard Larsen, President and CEO of Falck.
