JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — A bus driver had a surprise passenger Tuesday night when a deer crashed through the windshield.
WPXI.com reported that the deer ran around the public bus for about 20 seconds before the driver opened the door and the deer got off.
“Just out of the blue, something out of the corner of my eye, I saw something come through the window and a deer was there,” said bus driver John Porter.
The bus was only carrying one passenger at the time and the woman was a little shaken up, according to the report.
Porter’s hands were cut by broken glass, but he breathed a sigh of relief when the unexpected passenger ran off, according to the report.
