DESBOROUGH, U.K. — Paramedics called to help an injured teenager who later died have admitted they got lost on the way to the accident.
The ambulance crew received instructions to go to two separate incidents, had to stop to get out a map to confirm directions and took a wrong turn which delayed their arrival at the scene of the collision.
On the second day of an inquest into the death of 13-year-old Jason Body, the hearing was told there was confusion over a satellite navigation system used by the ambulance crew who were on their way back to their base in Towcester when they received the call.
