DETROIT — Detroit EMS Chief Gerald James says his department will investigate photos of EMS workers who appear to be asleep on the job — one of whom is his wife.
Fox 2 received a photo that seemingly shows two EMS lieutenants, including James’ wife, asleep inside of a work office. James told Fox that the photos will be investigated, but said he’s doubtful that the workers are sleeping because “there’s no way that somebody can sleep in that office.”
James also denied that the EMS lieutenants should have been out responding to emergencies in the city rather than allegedly sleeping at a desk.
