LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Michael Whitehead said he was trying to help his wife, but WAVE 3 has uncovered documents that show allegations of problems in the marriage of the former EMT now accused of murdering his chronically ill wife.
In the court documents filed Tuesday, police said Michael Whitehead admitted to starting IVs and pushing medicines for his wife, Ashley.
The 244 pages outline the state’s case against Whitehead, who is charged with murder, theft and practicing medicine without a license.
