ORLANDO, Fla. — A Lake County man is alive after six first responders performed CPR for 45 minutes straight, according to an article by WOFL.
Now those men are being called heroes for their quick actions and dedication to the February incident, WOFL wrote.
Rose Gordon noticed her husband, Shabiah, was breathing abnormally in his sleep on the morning of Feb. 24, WOFL reported.
After trying to wake him up, Rose called 911, WOFL reported.
Shabiah was in cardiac and respiratory arrest by the time first responders arrived, WOFL reported.
The responders began chest compressions for the next 45 minutes until they maintained a pulse, WOFL reported.
Shabiah was taken to the hospital, where he spent two weeks before walking out, according to the report.
