NJ EMT punched in face by patient

Police arrived at the scene and the EMT refused medical attention; it’s unknown if the patient was charged

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — An EMT from the Jersey City Medical Center was punched in the face by an adult male he was treating. He responded to a call for a sick person at 7:07 p.m. Friday, the Jersey Journal reports.

Police arrived at the scene, by Martin Luther King Drive and Bostwick Avenue. The EMT refused medical attention, and the patient was taken to the medical center.

It’s unknown if the patient was charged.
