KINGMAN, Ariz. — A woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault for kicking and spitting on a paramedic after calling to report a fire.
Firefighters arrived to find no fire, and Louise Querta, 52, appeared to be intoxicated, the News-Herald reports.
She complained her foot hurt and said she wanted to go to the hospital. When paramedics arrived, she began kicking and screaming, and spit on a medic as she was being loaded onto a gurney.
In addition to the felony assault charge, she faces a misdemeanor of filing a false emergency report.
