KANSAS CITY, Kan. — In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the University of Kansas Hospital turned its ambulance bay into an evaluation area for potential pandemic patients.
FOX 4 KC reported that KCK created 12 evaluation rooms in the ambulance bay to help separate those that could possibly be diagnosed with COVID-19 from the general public and the entrance to the hospital, KU Health System said in a statement.
