LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A 30-year EMT veteran died over the weekend after battling a rare cancer.
WHAS11.com reported that Michael Kreitman, 52, served as captain with Louisville Metro EMS for the last five years.
Kreitman suffered from bile duct cancer in the liver. Only 3,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed annually with that form of cancer, according to the report.
