LOS ANGELES — Giovanni Ramirez, the man accused of beating paramedic Bryan Stow at Dodgers Stadium in March, may also be connected to an attempted murder in Nevada.
A Henderson Police report detailing the pre-meditated shooting in January of this year says the attack was allegedly in retaliation for the 2005 death of Ramirez’ daughter, according to an 8 News NOW report.
The report says a man identified as Ramirez approached a Henderson home wearing a black hoodie jacked and a blue Los Angeles Dodgers Cap, the report said.
8 News said that Ramirez’ name is spelled differently on the Henderson report, but his birth date and suspect description match the information in the report.
Ramirez remains in jail on a parole violation. SB Nation reports that he officially underwent two polygraph tests on Wednesday, one issued by his attorney and one issued by the LAPD. The results of both tests have not been publicized.
