Ohio EMS employee on administrative leave; Case involves officer posing as child on Internet

LOGAN, Ohio — An employee of Hocking County EMS is on administrative leave, Chief of EMS Steve Brown said Wednesday.

The Logan Police Department and Hocking County Sheriff’s Office recently began an investigation of an EMS employee for disseminating material harmful to minors, a fifth-degree felony.

Logan police patrolmen and HCSO executed a search warrant at the EMS station, 609 state Route 664 North, Logan, for computers “that could have been used for Internet chatting,” according to a Logan police report. ...
