CLARKSVILLE, IND. — It was the hero’s send-off his family says he would have wanted.
Hundreds of area first responders, friends and family members gathered Saturday to say goodbye to David Gundle, the 50-year old southern Indiana EMT who was killed in an ambulance crash last week.
Gundle, an EMT with Clark County EMS, was riding in an ambulance when it failed to negotiate a turn, slid off the road and struck a tree, shearing back the roof.
