KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The paramedic who died early Sunday morning in a chain-reaction crash on Business Loop 131 was remembered by friends as the kind of guy who comes along once in a lifetime.

Trevor Stuck was a passenger in a Chrysler Sebring driven by Kari Braley. She lost control during the turn on the Business Loop 131 near Westnedge Avenue in Kalamazoo Township around 3:16 a.m. and rolled over in the median. Four people were in the car and at least one was ejected, Kalamazoo Township police said.

Minutes later, a car driven by 22-year-old Kalamazoo resident Margaret Robinson was driving on the Business Loop and lost control at the same curve and drove through the first crash scene. Robinson’s Jeep Liberty struck several people: two passengers from the first crashed vehicle, plus an off-duty deputy and a nurse who saw the first crash and stopped to help.
