ASHTABULA, Ohio — An EMT carrying a patient fell asleep at the wheel and crashed Thursday afternoon.
WFMJ reported that the EMT told Ohio State Patrol that he fell asleep and drifted off the road.
The ambulance nearly tipped on its side, but landed back on its wheels, according to the report.
The EMT at the wheel, a medic and patient were all transported to a hospital with minor injuries, WFMJ reports.
The crash remains under investigation.
