RENO, Nev. — Reno police are on the hunt for possible suspects after an ambulance that was transporting a patient was struck by a round from a BB gun Wednesday.
Medics were in the back of the vehicle tending to the patient when they said they heard a “pop” before the back window of the ambulance shattered, according to KTVN.
“At this time it does appear that a BB gun was used to break that window,” Sergeant Scott Shaw with the Reno Police Department said.
After the incident, medics evacuated the area with the patient and drove to a nearby parking lot to wait for help. No one was injured.
Police said they were unable to find any suspects in the area.
