JACKSON, Miss. — A Peeples Middle School student fell and injured her head Tuesday, and now her mother wants to know why 911 was not called.
District leaders said the student was treated while they tried to locate a parent. Monica Coleman’s daughter’s wound was still bleeding after doctors used staples to try to close a gash on her head.
“They said she was bleeding real, real bad, so I was trying to figure out why they didn’t call the ambulance to come get my child,” asked Coleman.
