DALLAS — A man who allegedly stole an ambulance from UT Southwestern Medical Center took it on a joyride to two adult bookstores before being arrested overnight.

Authorities tracked the ambulance to the stores several hours after the man took it from the hospital, located at 5323 Harry Hines Blvd., about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, KDFW-TV (Channel 4) reports. Officers tried to pull the suspect over at a Farmers Branch convenience store at Webb Chapel Road and Interstate 635 about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, the station reports.
