ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two paramedics were injured after A Fla. man crashed into a fire truck that was responding to a medical call.
The rescue truck had its lights and sirens on as it passed through an intersection on a green light. Terry Robert McFarland, Jr., 36, ran a red light and hit the right rear of the apparatus, over turning it on its side, according to Tampa Bay Online.
Crews had to extricate the two paramedics, who were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
McFarland, who was not injured, has a suspended license and was under the influence.
