MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A crash involving multiple vehicles and a private ambulance sent five people to the hospital Thursday, one in critical condition.
None of the people inside the three vehicles suffered life-threatening injuries after the incident at Interstate 240 and Perkins Avenue.
“Ended up one of the vehicles crossed the median ... Impacted some other vehicles,” said Memphis Fire Department Chief Mark Heath.
The median was more of a wall that a SUV flipped over. A car somehow became shoved under the ambulance.
