ELYRIA, Ohio — Ohio’s LifeCare Ambulance Inc. service is now an employee-owned company.
According to the Morning Journal, the ambulance has been serving Lorain County for 33 years and became an employee-owned company through a stock ownership plan.
“We wanted to make sure that the future of LifeCare is guaranteed to stay in Lorain County and we wanted to make it a rewarding experience for our employees to work here, while making the company exceptional,” said LifeCare President Dave Richards. “We already have a very strong management team of long-term employees in place, and Herb and Pete de la Porte will also stay involved for years to come.”
