DALLAS — A paramedic was transported to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into an ambulance and fled the scene.
NBC DFW reported that the Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance was transporting a patient to the hospital when it was hit on the highway.
The patient was not hurt in the crash, but one of the two paramedics in the ambulance was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police deployed a helicopter to search for the SUV that crashed into the ambulance, and it was found with heavy damage. The two people who were in the vehicle at the time of the crash were later found and arrested.
