PAW PAW, Mich. — A paramedic was injured Tuesday in a serious ambulance crash after he was struck by a semi-truck.
WSBT reported that the semi-truck crossed over the center line of the highway and sideswiped the Van Buren EMS ambulance, according to police.
The impact caused the semi-truck to rollover, trapping the driver for a short time. The driver was able to get out of the truck on his own.
The paramedic was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is currently under investigation.
