OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — An ambulance was struck by a concrete truck while responding to a call, according to officials.
WEAR TV reported that an Okaloosa County EMS was responding to a call with its lights and sirens activated when a concrete mixing truck pulled out in front of the ambulance and hit it.
Two EMS providers inside of the ambulance were injured as a result of the crash. They were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
It is not yet known if the truck driver will be cited for the crash, which is currently under investigation.
