PLAINVIEW, N.Y. — Four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a New York county police ambulance on Monday.
The Nassau County police ambulance had its lights and sirens activated and was responding to an emergency call when it collided with an SUV, which then crashed into another vehicle, according to the Plainview Patch.
Four people were transported to the hospital after the crash; their injuries were reported to be not life-threatening. It is unclear if first responders were among the injured.
Nassau County police and Syosset volunteer firefighters responded to the wreck.
