GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two paramedics and a patient were injured in a one-vehicle ambulance crash Sunday.
The Livingston County EMS ambulance was on its way to a hospital when the incident occurred, MLive reported.
The three patients were taken to a hospital. One of the paramedics was treated and released, while the second paramedic and patient were still hospitalized. Livingston Daily reported all were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Green Oak Township Police Chief Jason Pless said the paramedic driving the ambulance lost control of the vehicle on an ice-covered road.
"(The ambulance) slid off the road and went into a ditch where it turned over onto its side,” Pless said.
