FULLERTON, Calif. — An ambulance crashed into a storage building wall in Fullerton Thursday afternoon, police said. It was not carrying a patient at the time, and two employees had minor injuries.
The crash was reported at 1:24 p.m. in the 1400 block of Commonwealth Avenue, according to Julie Kunze deputy fire chief for the Fullerton Fire Department.
It is unclear what happened before the crash, but one of the victims had to be cut out of the Symons Company ambulance before they were both taken to a hospital for treatment.
Shortly after 2:17 p.m., another car hit a building near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue. Two cars collided, and one of them ended up also hitting a vacant Tony Roma’s restaurant, Kunze said.
Two people were taken to a hospital with moderate to serious injuries. It was not immediately known what happened that caused the two cars to collide.
