BATAVIA, Ohio — A woman who an EMS crew was transporting to a hospital jumped out of the ambulance and became trapped under it Monday in Pierce Township, WLWT reported.
Firefighters freed the patient from under the rig, WXIX reported.
She was reportedly conscious and breathing when they took her to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Dispatchers said it was not clear why she jumped from the ambulance. The incident is under investigation.
