How "Little Doug," a friend of Green Bay Metro crewmembers, survived another serious medical issue

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Several firefighter-paramedics with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department have known “Little Doug” all his life. They have also saved his life more than once.
At first, he was a newborn struggling to breathe.
Years later, the young friend they had kept in touch with had a grim diagnosis about his heart. The first responders were raising funds for one of Doug's life goals – his own bank account – when a doctor in Houston said he could treat the child's heart problem.
The young patient pulled through again.
