Lexipol announces 2025 National Connect Virtual Conference

The Nov. 18 event will feature expert-led sessions that support operational excellence and leadership readiness

FRISCO, Texas — Lexipol — owner of Police1, FireRescue1, EMS1, Corrections1 and Gov1 — has announced the 2025 Connect virtual conference.

The free event, taking place on Nov. 18, will bring together public safety professionals for a half-day of expert-led sessions focused on emerging challenges, from evolving legal standards to the rise of AI, and how to prepare for what’s ahead. Sessions are designed to provide practical applications and actionable tools centered on how to best support personnel, strengthen operations and improve agency performance.

Lexipol CEO Bill Nunan explains how the 2025 Connect theme, “Mission Ready: Every Responder, Every Time,” highlights Lexipol’s expanded focus on Total Readiness across people, operations and leadership: “Public safety leaders today are navigating an environment of unprecedented complexity and change. Connect 2025 is about equipping every leader with the knowledge, tools and support they need to be mission ready. This conference reflects Lexipol’s commitment to innovation, resilience and leadership, so that agencies can meet evolving challenges with confidence and purpose.”

Kristen Ziman, former chief of the Aurora (Illinois) Police Department, will deliver the opening keynote. Ziman led her agency through a high-profile mass shooting and has since become a national voice in police leadership, wellness and culture. In her presentation, “Readiness Is a Mindset, Not a Moment,” Ziman will explore the human side of preparedness and why leadership and culture are essential to meeting the unexpected.

Lexipol co-founder and risk management visionary Gordon Graham will close out the event with his presentation, “The Mission Evolves — So Must We,” a rallying call for leaders to embrace change, invest in their people and build systems that support long-term resilience.

Connect 2025 offers two paths for attendees:

  • “Mission: People”: This track is designed for leaders who manage personnel, oversee training, or are focused on wellness, leadership development or team dynamics. These sessions are built for those who lead from the front and care deeply about the people behind the mission.
  • “Mission: Operations”: This track is designed for leaders who are responsible for compliance, logistics, efficiency or agency-wide performance. These sessions deliver practical strategies and system-level insights to do more with less — and do it better.

Attendees can mix and match between tracks or register for all sessions; everything will be available on demand after the live event.

Sessions cover a variety of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Developing Future Leaders — Confronting the leadership crisis head-on
  • Trends in Law and Policy for Public Safety Leaders — What new laws and court decisions mean for your agency
  • Warning Signs in Personnel Behavior — Spot early indicators of burnout, trauma, or misconduct
  • AI in Public Safety — Balance innovation and risk in this emerging frontier
  • Safety Culture Survey Reveal — What thousands of first responders say about trust, training, and safety
  • Force Multipliers for Small and Mid-Sized Departments — Do more with less by investing where it matters most

Connect 2025 runs from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. ET, with all sessions available on demand afterward.
