GREENBACKVILLE, Va. — A Captain’s Cove woman whose son died of a heart attack after a delayed response to a 911 call plans to address the Accomack County Board of Supervisors Wednesday in support of a proposal to add more paid emergency medical responders in the area.
The northern Accomack County subdivision near the village of Greenbackville has a population of just over 1,000.
Rosemary Hall, a 20-year resident of Captain’s Cove, in a written version of the comment she plans to deliver described what happened July 12 after a 911 call was placed from her home as her son was having a heart attack.
